Peer-Review Prosess
Nursing Insight employs a double-blind peer-review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity. The journal follows ethical principles aligned with COPE guidelines for peer reviewers
Review Steps
1. Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the OJS system and must ensure compliance with journal guidelines and ethical standards.
2. Initial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for scope relevance, originality, and basic quality. Manuscripts may be desk rejected at this stage if unsuitable.
3. Peer Review Assignment
Suitable manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers under a double-blind system.
4. Evaluation
Reviewers assess scientific quality, methodology, originality, clarity, and ethical compliance, and provide constructive feedback.
5. Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief or handling editor makes the final decision based on reviewer reports. Decisions may include accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
6. Revision and Publication
If revisions are required, authors must respond to reviewer comments. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and publication.
Ethical Standards
All submissions are treated as confidential. Reviewers must disclose conflicts of interest and adhere to COPE ethical guidelines throughout the review process
