Authorship Changes

Nursing Insight follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) regarding authorship changes to ensure transparency and accountability in scholarly publishing.

Any request to add, remove, or rearrange author names after manuscript submission must be submitted in writing to the editorial office by the corresponding author, including a clear explanation for the requested change. All listed authors must provide written confirmation and approval of the proposed modification.

Authorship changes after manuscript acceptance are strongly discouraged and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances. The editorial team reserves the right to request additional documentation or clarification before approving any changes.

Requests involving suspected authorship misconduct, guest authorship, ghost authorship, or disputes among authors may be handled in accordance with COPE guidelines and may result in editorial investigation, manuscript rejection, correction, or retraction where appropriate.
