- Establishment & Launch ([2021]): Journal of Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy (JoPES) was established by the Physical Education of Elementary Teacher Program, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, to promote scholarly research and pedagogy in physical education.
- ISSN Assignment ([2021]): Assigned E-ISSN (2776-9852) and P-ISSN (2776-9860) by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
- National Accreditation: Accredited **SINTA 4** by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Decree No: [355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026], valid from Vol. [3] No. [1], [2023] to Vol. [7] No. [2], [2027]).
- Indexing Milestones: Indexed in Google Scholar, Crossref (DOI prefix assignment), and GARUDA to ensure broad global visibility and citation tracking.
- Platform & Infrastructure: Upgraded editorial and publishing operations to Open Journal Systems (OJS 3.5 LTS) to enhance double-blind peer review processing and digital archiving.
